Wexer Virtual has developed a Generation III design and interface for its virtual fitness platform.
The fitness group has also introduced the Wexer Virtual streaming plugin application which streams content to application-based platforms.
In another development, Wexer has launched integration with advertising partners, enabling commercial advertising as an ancillary revenue stream for their clients.
The Wexer Virtual platform allows fitness facilities to offer an audio-visual experience in group x, cycling and open space group fitness areas. Classes, available 24/7, can be used as stand-alone sessions or as live class enhancements.
To activate a virtual class, users browse the channels on the Wexer touch screen console and select their virtual class. Gyms can also pre-schedule a class from an online administration page.
The Wexer Virtual setup is customisable to the facility and the standard set up consists of the touch screen player, an audio system, and a projector and screen.
